Right now, the Washington Redskins priority should be long-term growth, and while it would be nice to notch wins against relatively similar teams like the Jets, one can only ask so much of a team coached by Bill Callahan, with a rookie quarterback and a poorly-coached defense.
The Redskins looked like exactly that in their 34-17 loss to the Jets: Young, and poorly coached. But while the ugly moments outweighed the awe-inspiring ones, there were still players who progressed over the course of the game, and there were silver linings to carry into next week.
