The Redskins came into the season with hopes of winning games and having a chance to make the playoffs. They kept Jay Gruden around for a sixth year and were hopeful that with fewer injuries, he would have a chance to lead the team to success. Things didn’t go well out of the gate and the team seemingly quit on Gruden before his firing in Week 5.
