Former Washington Redskins tight end and current ESPN 980 radio show host Chris Cooley indicated this summer that he has been working out and is in great shape and wouldn’t rule out a possible NFL comeback.
So far the Arizona Cardinals have been the only team that we know of that’s shown interest in signing Cooley.
Redskins head coach Jay Gruden addressed the idea of Cooley coming back and playing in Washington during a press conference on Wednesday.
Gruden said the team has not yet talked about the possibility of bringing back TE Chris Cooley.
