At a glance, it was an overpay for the solid receiver, but it’s still one that he could have lived up to.
However, on Thursday, the deal was never signed. As the day went on, there was speculation that there could have been a problem. And indeed there was.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Grant deal fell through after an issue came up in Grant’s physical.
