The Redskins announced a few roster moves today. We already knew that rookie 3rd round pick Geron Christian Sr. was being placed on IR after tearing his MCL on Sunday. Christian only played 3 snaps on offense when Ty Nsekhe left the game injured, but now his season is over. Recently signed veteran tackle Austin Howard will be the team's backup until Trent Williams returns from thumb surgery.
Washington also waived second-year CB Joshua Holsey from the roster. He was activated from the Non-Football Injury list yesterday.
