Redskins receive good news on Will Compton, Su'a Cravens

ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins received good news about two of their linebackers, even though they’re still not sure when either will return.

But no surgery is necessary for Will Compton or Su'a Cravens, and both are considered week-to-week. Compton sprained the posterior cruciate ligament in his knee and Cravens suffered a moderate elbow flexor in Sunday’s 27-22 win against Philadelphia.

Compton knew after the game that it likely was his PCL, having been told that his major ligaments were structurally sound.
