LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have re-signed linebacker Mason Foster. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Foster (6-1, 250) originally entered the NFL as a third-round selection (84th overall) of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2011 NFL Draft. He joined the Redskins as a free agent in Week 4 of the 2015 season, appearing in 13 games during the team’s 2015 NFC East title run.
For his career, Foster has played in 91 regular season games with 76 starts, compiling 528 tackles (374 solo), 16 passes defensed, 7.
