Redskins over Eagles 38-24 clinch NFC East

The Washington Redskins have clinched the NFC East for the first time since 2012 as they defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-24. Eagles defensive end Fletcher Cox guaranteed the Eagles would win this game but the Redskins made him eat his words.

The Eagles broke out on top 7-0 with a 6-play, 80 yard drive capped off by a 1 yard TD run Ryan Mathews. The Redskins struck right back with a 5-play, 69 yard drive as Kirk Cousins found tight end Jordan Reed on a 22 yard TD pass.

The point after was missed so that made the score 7-6 Eagles.
