The 2016 preseason finale was one of the most exciting moments of Mack Brown‘s career. The former undrafted free agent looked superb for the Washington Redskins and was able to total 149 yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers. Sure, he was going against depth players, but many Redskins fans hoped that he would make the active roster. He did not.
For the next season and a half, the Mack Brown fan club would consistently call on the ‘Skins to elevate him from the practice squad and give him playing time. Eventually, he did land on the active roster in 2016, and he broke a 62-yard TD against the Bears.
