The Washington Redskins hope their safety position, finally, is solved. That sentence could have been written a number of times in the past, only to have the season play out a different way. But after signing D.J. Swearinger and with Su'a Cravens moving there, the Redskins, yes, have hope that this time it will prove to be accurate.
Everything looks and sounds good for teams in April, so the reality check occurs in September. But with Swearinger and Cravens, the Redskins have one player coming off his best season and another who is returning to his natural spot.
