ASHBURN, Va. – Washington Redskins defensive end Jason Hatcher developed a strong case of amnesia on Wednesday – at least when it came to comments he made three days ago.
After Sunday’s 44-16 loss to Carolina, a game in which two crucial penalties went against the Redskins, Hatcher said, “At the end of the day, it's the name. Don't worry about the name -- we're players and we work our butts off, too. I'm just frustrated with it.”
His entire comments can be found here.
But his tone changed Wednesday – two days after coach Jay Gruden said he doesn’t want excuses made for any loss.
