Redskins Biggest Disappointments – Midseason: Running Game

During the offseason, one of the things that I was exciting to see happen was the hiring of Bill Callahan as the offensive line coach. In 2014 the Redskins running game plummeted and there was a need to get more production on the ground.

Callahan also calls the running plays on offense and while the first two-three games started out with outstanding production running the ball, the last five have resulted in the Redskins running game being more of a liability than a positive.

The Redskins after eight games rank 27th in the league in rushing. Needless to say that’s worse than last season when they ended the year ranked 19th in rushing.
