NFL free agency begins March 18th at 4pm...that is if COVID-19 doesn’t alter this date. Assuming all goes off as planned, the Redskins will enter this frenzy with roughly $63 million in cap space(more can be created if/when Trent Williams is traded), and some significant holes in the roster that desperately need to be filled.
It would be ideal if the majority of these holes could be filled via the NFL Draft, but with just one pick in the top 60, and with that pick likely going towards a position that is not a top need, the Redskins will be forced buy additional talent.
