Superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett is “on track” to return off injured reserve and play against the Commanders in Week 9, per a Friday report by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.
That’s bad news for Washington if Garrett does return on Sunday, as he’s the best pass rusher on this planet when at the height of his powers and tough to stop even when he’s not.
Garrett has missed most of this season dealing with a knee injury. He missed most of Rams training camp with the ailment, played the regular-season opener, then was placed on IR and had arthroscopic surgery after that.
