Newly signed linebacker Nico Marley continued his mini press tour on Thursday when he joined NFL Network’s "Good Morning Football" to talk about his emotions joining the professional ranks.
Before he could get in a word, host Kay Adams dropped a little tidbit about Marley's father, Rohan, that makes Marley’s decision to sign with the Redskins all that more meaningful.
“Growing up in Jamaica, [Rohan] wasn’t very familiar with American football and he had a satellite and there was one team that he watched, and that team was, in fact, the Redskins,” Adams explained.
