NFL insider says quiet part out loud about protagonist in Terry McLaurin standoff

Terry McLaurin and the Washington Commanders just can't seem to work out their ongoing contract standoff. An NFL insider placed the blame firmly on the shoulders of one man for the first time.

It wasn't McLaurin. It wasn't general manager Adam Peters, either. It was the men at loggerheads with the Commanders from the moment this saga began.

Buddy Baker and Tony Bonagura from Exclusive Sports Group are representing McLaurin. Their initial asking price was so steep that Peters reportedly considered ending the first round of negotiations right on the spot. After that, the wideout has been behaving very out of character with holdouts, a hold-in back at the facility, and even a trade request.
