NFL coaches and GMs receive questions about Robert Griffin III at combine

INDIANAPOLIS The Redskins have yet to release Robert Griffin III, but it’s only a matter of time before they do. As has long been expected, team president Bruce Allen said on Tuesday that the team would move on from the former franchise quarterback some time before 4 p.m. on March 9, the start of the next league year.

Although Griffin remains in a holding pattern until the team grants him his freedom, reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine didn’t wait to ask quarterback-needy teams about potential interest in the 2012 offensive rookie of the year.
