LANDOVER — Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones is inactive against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday because of a hip injury that has now kept him out three consecutive games.
Without Jones, the Redskins will go with running backs Alfred Morris, Chris Thompson and Pierre Thomas in the wild-card round game.
Inside linebacker Perry Riley, recovering from surgery on his right foot, is also inactive despite making his return to practice this past week.
Center Kory Lichtensteiger is expected to be the Redskins‘ starting center, marking his first appearance in a game since a nerve issue left him experiencing weakness in his left shoulder following a Week 5 loss at the Atlanta Falcons.
