Jayden Daniels is now set for a considerable spell on the sidelines after dislocating his elbow in Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks. Head coach Dan Quinn took full responsibility for leaving the quarterback in for too long, but that won't help the Washington Commanders in the short term.
Daniels wasn't playing that well even before going to the sidelines. He is trying to force the issue too much. The signal-caller masked most of Washington's failings last season, but he's been unable to do the same this time around.
The cracks have begun to show, and Daniels' injury problems haven't exactly assisted his cause, either.
