Kerrigan sinks chip-in playing QL National pro-am with Gruden, Cooley

Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden, defensive end Ryan Kerrigan and former tight end Chris Cooley played in the Quicken Loans National pro-am round Wednesday with PGA Tour pro Cody Gribble.

Certain moments of the round were clutch. For instance, on one of the grouping’s early holes, Ryan Kerrigan sank this shot from way off the side of the green and behind the ropes:

Ryan Kerrigan just made a nearly impossible chip in for birdie and celebrated with some fans following along.

“Even a blind squirrel,” he said. pic.twitter.com/qDrTNFSpIR — Jared Goldstein (@_jgoldy17) June 27, 2018

Other moments from the round showed why these Redskins made their living in football, not golf.
