Controversial linebacker Junior Galette has landed a second chance with an NFL team, agreeing to a deal with the Washington Redskins.
The Redskins officially announced Gallette's signing on their website. NFL Network's Albert Breer reported the deal is for one year at the veteran's minimum.
Per Spotrac, the veteran's minimum for a player with between four and six years experience is $745,000.
Galette's agent Alvin Keels announced the deal on Twitter, adding his client will not be taking this opportunity lightly:
Junior is grateful for the second chance he is being afforded by the Redskins and is looking forward to not only producing on the field but also to display the veteran leadership in the locker room.
