ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins corner Josh Norman didn’t make the same plays he did a year earlier. Nor did he earn any postseason honors. For Norman, though, that does not mean he played worse.
In fact, Norman said it was quite different.
“By far for me that was the best season I had,” Norman said.
In 2015, Norman was first-team All-Pro after intercepting four passes, returning two for touchdowns, and forced three fumbles in helping Carolina reach the Super Bowl. He then signed with Washington, becoming the highest-paid corner in the league with a five-year deal averaging $15 million per year.
