Doug Williams stood at midfield with Jeff Bostic and looked at the video board. A photo of the two of them was displayed, close to 30 years ago. They has their arms around each other with huge smiles on their faces.
As Williams and Bostic glanced to their left to see it, both began producing similar big grins. A video montage played next with highlights of Bostic’s career, the crowd began to roar and the emotions of the moment began to sink in.
Bostic’s induction into the Ring of Fame Sunday during halftime of the Redskins-Buccaneers game was the culmination of a successful homecoming alumni weekend, and also a challenging year for Bostic, or what he called a “different chapter in my life.
