Jayden Daniels, Bobby Wagner, and other Washington Commanders players got their chance to talk to the media after today’s practice. The team is in Ashburn, VA for their first practice, and Daniels said he focused on his footwork and control within the pocket this offseason. His top target during his rookie season was Terry McLaurin who is holding out for a new deal. Daniels said he’s built a rapport with McLaurin, and players understand the business side of football. He doesn’t think Terry will miss a beat when he returns to the team.
Deebo Samuel was added via trade, and Daniels was already building some chemistry with him to start camp.
