Jay Gruden talked to the media after today’s practice. The obvious big topic was the Redskins decision to claim former 49ers LB Reuben Foster off of waivers after his domestic violence arrest and release. The Redskins issued a statement that was attributed to Doug Williams(name misspelled and all). Redskins owner Dan Snyder and Team President Bruce Allen were not made available for comment today, directing all the heat at their head coach.
Gruden said it was a team decision to claim him, instead of waiting until he cleared waivers and do more due diligence.
