How will the Redskins Create More Turnovers?

Last season the Washington Redskins were one of the worst teams in the NFL at creating turnovers. The defense ranked tied for 25th in the league with 19 takeaways including just 7 interceptions and 12 fumble recoveries.

The loss of DeAngelo Hall to a torn Achilles probably helped contribute to the low number of interceptions and the lack of production at safety didn’t help either. But if the Redskins are to challenge for a playoff spot the turnover numbers must improve.

They have a new defensive coordinator in Joe Barry and he was the San Diego Chargers linebacker coach last season.
