Reche Caldwell, a seven-year NFL veteran who spent the 2007 season with the Washington Redskins, was killed on Saturday night, according to TMZ.
Caldwell, 41, was shot in the leg and the chest outside of his Tampa, Fla. home. And the police are investigating the matter as a homicide, as detailed in TMZ’s story.
“Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim of a gunshot wound in the front yard of a residence. Officers immediately began providing life-saving measures.
“Tampa Fire Rescue arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
