ESPN model projects Redskins to have worst record in 2020

A model from an ESPN football analyst projects the Washington Redskins to have the worst record in 2020 — and the first overall pick in the draft.

ESPN’s Mike Clay posted the projections Tuesday to his Twitter account, predicting Washington will go 4-12 next season. That would be a one-win improvement for the Redskins, but it would be a disappointment given the overhaul of the roster under new coach Ron Rivera.

In his first offseason at the helm of the Redskins, Rivera added a number of free agents to bolster the team’s depth and drafted pass rusher Chase Young with the second overall pick.
