RICHMOND — DeAngelo Hall said Monday he’s hopeful that he’ll be able to play against the Detroit Lions on Thursday night in the Washington Redskins‘ second preseason game.
Hall was attempting to tackle wide receiver Rashad Ross late in team drills on Sunday when he injured one of the toes on his left foot. He sat out of practice Monday morning and said he’s trying to reduce the swelling and regain mobility in the toe through treatment.
Coach Jay Gruden said Hall underwent x-rays on the toe, but that they showed no breaks.
