RICHMOND – Cornerback DeAngelo Hall received good news when results from the X-rays conducted on his sprained left big toe came back negative.
The 12th-year veteran, attempting to return after missing the final 13 games of 2014 because of a ruptured left Achilles’ tendon, said on Monday that the soreness and swelling in the toe subside over the next couple days so he can play for the Redskins in Thursday’s second preseason game, at FedEx Field against the Detroit Lions.
“I jammed it up a little bit,” said Hall, who suffered the injury late in Sunday’s practice and watched Monday’s 90-minute session.
