The Washington Commanders are taking a big risk by moving forward with David Blough as their new offensive coordinator. He's got no play-calling experience and was only a position coach for a few weeks after Tavita Pritchard left for Stanford, but Dan Quinn is confident in his vision to run a more pro-style system that could greatly benefit quarterback Jayden Daniels.
This was the big reason why the Commanders canned Kliff Kingsbury after two seasons. Fans are approaching Blough's arrival with nervous excitement. Even so, there is at least alignment in the building that should serve them well heading into a crucial offseason.
