On Sunday, the Washington Commanders were absolutely dominated by the Detroit Lions, losing 44-22. Unfortunately, neither the outcome nor the score was a surprise. Washington, now 3-7, is in the middle of a rough year, and with Jayden Daniels sidelined, expectations were low entering Sunday’s game. Still, the on-field product was embarrassing.
Things got even more embarrassing once the Lions left the field and got in front of the microphones. Detroit head coach Dan Campbell, who notably took over offensive play calling for the Lions on Sunday, talked about how easy his job was thanks to the dominance of his players.
