Contract talks between Washington Redskins, Zach Brown still underway

The linebacker was one of the better options in free agency last year, but due to his unproven status, he slipped through the cracks, and the Washington Redskins scooped him up for a bargain deal.

Zach Brown entered the season as the starting inside linebacker beside Mason Foster, and although his season would be cut short due to injury, he led the league in tackles a good way through, and finished with 129 on the year, good for ninth in the league. He gave the Redskins speed on the second level, and a bit of security on defense, things that the team was not accustomed to having.
