The Commanders need Treylon Burks more than ever. Terry McLaurin is done for the year and Washington needs someone in the X position.
Burks is the natural fit. Not having him pushes Dyami Brown to that spot, and that’s not what you want. You also don’t want Antonio Williams out there. You’d rather have him in the slot.
So, Burks missing any time at all is a bad thing. Washington certainly misses him being out, as he was on Wednesday. That was made clear on the team’s participation report, and he was listed with a foot injury.
