The Commanders receiver corps is being thinned out by injury. Washington will play Sunday’s game against the L.A. Rams without Treylon Burks or Dyami Brown, the team announced Friday evening on its official injury report.
Burks is dealing with a foot injury that kept him out of practice all week. Brown suffered a calf injury in Thursday’s practice that the Commanders are concerned about.
All this comes shortly after Terry McLaurin was lost for the year with a torn petellar tendon in his knee.
As The Athletic’s Nicki Jhabvala originally pointed, Stefon Diggs and Antonio Williams were the only receivers at practice who have caught a pass in a game to this point.
