Adam Peters hasn't addressed the edge-rushing options with the urgency fans demanded this offseason. The Washington Commanders are quietly confident they have enough across the depth chart, but it's easily the division's worst room unless someone unexpectedly takes off.

There is still time for Peters to bolster the unit if the right opportunities come along. He's giving those currently around a chance to stake their claims over the opening stages of training camp. If the front-office leader isn't entirely satisfied, that's when he'll examine alternative options.

One NFL analyst thought Peters should keep tabs on a highly-touted former top draft prospect whose career has been significantly derailed by injuries.
