Commanders rookie injury scare leaves fans holding their breath

The Washington Commanders had a relatively clean bill of health heading into their Week 2 primetime clash with the Green Bay Packers. That was pleasing, especially considering what was at stake for both clubs during a mouth-watering matchup early in the campaign.

It doesn't take long for that to change. That proved to be the case when the Commanders were given a scare on the health front at the worst possible time.

The Commanders were dealt a blow when Trey Amos was forced off the field. The rookie cornerback was involved in a physical collision with Packers quarterback Jordan Love, and he came off a lot worse.
