Things did not go well for the Washington Commanders in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons. They were never really in the game, despite the eventual seven-point margin of defeat, and head coach Dan Quinn made his feelings abundantly clear to his players after the team failed to meet its high standards.
This should serve as a wake-up call to the Commanders. And if the loss wasn't bad enough, they are also dealing with another long-term injury complication for good measure.
Rotational edge rusher Javontae Jean-Baptiste, who has been getting more involved in recent weeks, saw his momentum come screeching to an abrupt halt with a pectoral injury.
