With the introduction of new coordinator Daronte Jones, the Washington Commanders' defensive personnel is expected to undergo a significant overhaul this offseason. That won't make everyone who is currently under contract happy, but it's the only way to move forward.
Some difficult decisions are coming. Jones may want to see what he has before taking more drastic action during early preparations for the 2026 campaign. At the same time, the tape doesn't lie.
After some studying, coupled with the assessments of general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn, the lay of the land should be pretty clear.
