It's no secret that the Washington Commanders were short-handed at the wide receiver position heading into their Week 7 showdown against the Dallas Cowboys. Head coach Dan Quinn couldn't afford anyone else getting hurt, which is why there was so much concern around Luke McCaffrey during a scary incident at the end of the first half.
The Commanders placed Noah Brown on injured reserve. He hasn't been seen since Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers, and Washington clearly wasn't satisfied with how his recovery was progressing. Second-team All-Pro wideout Terry McLaurin was absent for the fourth-straight game, which was bitterly disappointing when one considers how optimistic Quinn seemed earlier in the week.
