Much was made throughout the offseason about the Washington Commanders letting dynamic safety Jeremy Chinn walk to the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency and replacing him with Will Harris. It seems like the recent acquisition has been hearing the chatter, too.
And the veteran defensive back wasted no time in his attempt to silence some increasing doubters when training camp began.
Chinn quickly became a fan favorite in Washington. He was fast, instinctive, and explosive, playing a significant role in the Commanders' meteoric rise in their first season under head coach Dan Quinn. That didn't matter to general manager Adam Peters, who wasn't willing to pay what the Raiders were offering.
