Training camp only began a few short days ago for the Washington Commanders. However, that hasn't stopped one rookie from pulling clear in his quest for a starting job.
And make no mistake, this represents the best-case scenario for the Commanders as they look for defensive improvements this season.
Big things are expected of Washington's secondary in 2025. Everyone is healthy, and problem positions have been strengthened. There are some slight concerns about the pass rush, but the additions of Javon Kinlaw and Von Miller should upgrade a unit that was devoid of explosiveness or consistency last time around.
