Ralph Whalen, the attorney for Washington Redskins linebacker Junior Galette has released a statement announcing that the civil lawsuit against his client has been dismissed after he was accused of physical and mental abuse that allegedly occurred at his home back in January while being charged with domestic violence.
“We are delighted that the frivolous civil suit and meritless criminal case have been swiftly dismissed,” Whalen said in the statement, via CSN Washington. “Now, Junior can hopefully focus on football and put this incident, where he did nothing wrong, behind him.”
While the charges being dropped are great for Galette, it doesn’t mean he wasn’t guilty in the case.
