Bashaud Breeland Suspended 1 Game for Marijuana Possession

Washington cornerback Bashaud Breeland will serve a one-game suspension for his 2014 arrest for marijuana possession.

NFL Network's Albert Breer reported the news. Virginia Commonwealth University police cited Breeland, 23, with marijuana possession last August during training camp.

“I addressed it with him,” coach Jay Gruden told reporters last year. “We’ll keep the conversation between us. But he’s well aware of what he has to do to get it fixed. We just have to move forward. And hopefully he learns from a terrible mistake.”

A fourth-round pick out of Clemson, Breeland played his entire rookie season without incident.
