Analyst lays out what the NFL is scared to admit about Adam Peters

The Washington Commanders have regressed severely this season, despite most expecting this upstart contender to challenge for the Super Bowl once again. But even though things haven't gone well, one NFL analyst pointed to the New England Patriots as a reason for encouraging heading into a critical offseason for general manager Adam Peters.

Washington pushed its chips into the middle, and they were right to do so. The Commanders reached the final four last time out. There was a need to be more aggressive to maximize quarterback Jayden Daniels' rookie contract. Unfortunately, injuries, aging players who were a step too slow, and younger players with breakout promise falling flat contributed significantly to their demise.
