Alarming truth emerging for Adam Peters and Commanders' 2024 draft class

In his first draft as general manager of the Washington Commanders, Adam Peters chose nine players. Six of them were among the top 100 picks.

Peters had already added several veterans through free agency, but this was going to be the real start of the rebuild. For a man who came from the San Francisco 49ers franchise, building through the draft would be essential. Those nine picks were going to lay the groundwork for a renaissance in Washington.

Last year, it looked pretty good.

Of the three late picks, seventh-round edge rusher Javontae Jean-Baptiste showed genuine promise.
