2018 Mock Drafts: Josh Jackson To The Redskins?

The two highest selected Iowa product by the Washington Redskins in franchise history have been two-time Pro Bowler Brandon Scherff (No. 5-overall in 2015) and the NFL’s career interceptions record holder, Paul Krause.

This year, the Redskins could potentially add another productive Iowa player in the first round of the NFL Draft, as CBSSports.com’s Pete Prisco has Washington selecting Hawkeyes cornerback Josh Jackson with the No. 13-overall pick.

Prisco notes that Jackson is “a ball hawk,” a claim that the cornerback backed up during a breakout 2017 campaign.

During his junior season, Jackson was a unanimous first team All-American selection as he recorded 48 tackles with 26 passes defensed, eight interceptions and two defensive touchdowns in just nine games.
