The Washington Capitals could be in the market for a defenseman, according to Alan May, in an interview with PressBoxDC. May also believes the Capitals will add another “offensive talent” but we’ll have to wait and see about that.
May also did an AMA on Reddit recently, where he said:
“Caps still need another right handed defenseman.”
There aren’t a whole lot of right handed defensemen that are available for rent right now, and I assume the Capitals are only looking to rent here. Roman Polak is a guy the Capitals could potentially look into.
