The Washington Capitals have added another defenseman.

The Washington Capitals have signed defenseman Cameron Schilling to a one year, two way contract. He will make $700,000 in the NHL and $365,000 in the AHL. This is a minor leaguer that can help the Bears out and mentor their young defense.

The 32 year old recorded 24 points with five goals and 19 assists in 54 games with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL last season, which ranked second among team defensemen.
