Washington Capitals re-sign Axel Jonsson-Fjallby

Three years after the team won their first Stanley Cup, the Washington Capitals made an investment into their future by re-signing prospect forward Axel Jonsson-Fjallby.

The contract will be a two year, two way deal which will pay him $750,000 in the NHL both years, $175,000 in the AHL this upcoming season and $225,000 in the AHL the season after. The 23 year old played in 31 games with the Hershey Bears recording 15 points with 10 goals and five assists.
